The Turbulence and Energy Systems Laboratory (TESLa) is located at the University of Colorado, Boulder and is led by Professor Peter Hamlington in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The TESLa team currently consists of a number of student research assistants and collaborators within Boulder and beyond.
At TESLa we use numerical simulations to study turbulent flows found in a variety of different engineering and natural applications. Click on the thumbnails above for more information on specific projects, or for a general overview of the work we do see our projects page.
TESLa is located in the Mechanical Engineering wing of the Engineering Center at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Peter Hamlington can be found in ECME 222 and student offices are in ECME 215A.University of Colorado, Boulder
