Adam Jirasek
Senior Research Associate, Mechanical Engineering


Adam graduated from the Czech Technical University in 1996 with degree in aeronautical engineering. After working for four years in the Aeronautical Test and Research Institute in Prague he moved to Sweden where he started working at the Aeronautical Research Institute of Sweden which later became the Swedish Defence Research Agency. He worked for two years at the United States Air Force Academy as a NRC Research Associate. Currently he is working at CU Boulder and the United States Air Force Academy in area of CFD code development, meshing and turbulence model development.

Adam’s research interests lie in design, aeroelasticity, CFD code development, Stability and Control, flow control and meshing
